Herpes Cold sores also known as Herpes labialis are small sores filled with fluid appears in the lips or mouth. In the beginning, you feel itching and burning in the lips or mouth. Preventions For Herpes Cold Sore
- Over the counter creams
This antiviral cream can shorten the duration of a cold sore outbreak. This will reduce pain and keep the sore portion soft. Apply the cream at least 5 times a day and continue it for 5 to 6 days.
- Aloe vera gel
The aloe vera gel will help to heal and studies show that this gel has the power to fight against cold sore infections.
- Never Touch it
Don’t try to touch the cold sores. Most of the people have the tendency to touch the sores. If you touch it, the chances of spreading the virus to other parts of the body are high.
- Ice
Ice will help you to reduce the inflammation and discomfort of the sores. Place ice above the sores and you will get temporary relief.
